Florence Gibson, Trainee Solicitor

Florence graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class degree in Law (with Honours) and joined SKO in 2023 as a trainee solicitor.

Florence was awarded the Scots Law Society Prize on Graduation, awarded in recognition of the highest attainment across selected Honours subjects. She was invited to attend the European Private Law Summer School at the University of Salzburg in July 2021 on the basis of her academic performance as an undergraduate student, and after completion of her undergraduate degree was employed as a research assistant to Professor Steven at the University of Edinburgh.

Florence was employed as a tutor to undergraduate LLB law students and whilst a student worked as an intern at SKO and was a student adviser at the University of Edinburgh free Legal Advice Centre
