UK Supreme Court: international child abduction

Rachael Kelsey writes in Scottish Legal News today on two important cases that SKO has been involved in- the first is a decision of the Supreme Court, handed down yesterday and the second a Petition to the Nobile Officium in the Court of Session. The former matter relates to an application under the 1980 Hague Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction Convention where SKO acted pro bono- John West and Rachael Kelsey acting. In the latter matter, Susan Oswald acts for Salford City Council in Petition proceedings dealing with the recognition and enforcement of orders made by the English Court in relation to a child who is placed in secure accommodation here.
