SKO Win Two Legal 500 Awards

SKO are delighted to have scooped two Awards at the first Legal 500 Scotland Law Awards. The firm were named Boutique Law Firm of the Year 2023, beating seven other commercial, media, criminal, family and general practice firms and founding partner, Rachael Kelsey, was named Private Client Lawyer of the Year, from a field of ten lawyers including tax, rural property and family law specialists.
The shortlists and winners have been determined based on The Legal 500’s market-leading independent research for the annual UK Solicitors guide. The judging team was spearheaded by The Legal 500 UK research manager Ben Wheway, editor Georgina Stanley, and head of in-house research Joe Boswell, and including the efforts of all of the in-house and freelance researchers whose in-depth knowledge and understanding went into the authoritative UK practice rankings.
SKO recently celebrated its 15th Birthday and have been ranked every year since inception. In the 2023 Guide the firm are the only ranked practice in Scotland where all partners are recognised as 'Leading Individuals' and have one of only two 'Hall of Fame' practitioners.
