SKO Hosts Roundtable On Forced Marriage & The Law In Scotland

SKO joined with the Scottish Women's Rights Centre to host a roundtable meeting today which was chaired by The Rt Hon Baroness Butler-Sloss, and organised by the National Commission on Forced Marriage UK. The focus of the meeting was on forced marriage and the law in Scotland and Northern Ireland. More than a dozen people from Scotland, Northern Ireland and England who work in this area took part to discuss challenges currently faced by people in Scotland who experience, or who are at risk of, forced marriage.
