Rachael Kelsey speaks at 25th African Family Law Conference

Rachael Kelsey spoke at the Annual African Family Law Conference in Cape Town today. The Conference is hosted by Miller du Toit and the University of the Western Cape and is now in its 25th year. Rachael has participated many times before and was asked to speak on the 2007 Hague Maintenance Convention and its operation internationally.
The Conference brings together lawyers, judges, academics, third-sector, child-welfare and mental-health professionals who have an interest in the practice, and development, of family law in Africa. Best-practice and innovation across the continent were show-cased from multiple jurisdictions including Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Ghana and Zimbabwe and there were participants from over 15 other jurisdictions more widely including Jamaica, Nepal and Australia.
