New Start at SKO
11th October 2021
We're delighted to be joined by Senior Solicitor, Seonaid Cochrane. Seonaid joins us from a large, multi-disciplinary firm in Edinburgh where she specialised in contentious commercial law. Her particular experience in the various dispute resolution models, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication as well as mediation and solicitor-led negotiation will be invaluable in her new role with SKO, where she will work closely with Rachael Kelsey and Alison Edmondson on matters where there are commercial issues to be resolved in the context of relationship breakdown.
Seonaid obtained a first class degree in law with European Legal Studies and Gaelic from the University of Aberdeen and completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Strathclyde University. She undertook family law at honours level and her dissertation focused on relocation of resident parents. Seonaid sits as a panel member on the Glasgow Children’s Panel. You can find out more about Seonaid here.
