Questions included the financial implications of the breakdown of cohabitation, the implications of owning property with another person, and a comparison between the responsibilities and rights afforded to cohabitants in Scotland in terms of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 2006 and those which might be available to cohabitants in England & Wales in terms of the Private Members' Bill currently making its way through the House of Lords.
