International divorce: disclosure of information

Rachael Kelsey was invited by the AAML (American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers) to speak at their Annual Meeting in Chicago today. Rachael was on a panel of lawyers from Mexico, Canada, Sweden and England & Wales and spoke on ‘Discovery beyond our borders: gathering information on international cases’.
Her presentation focused on the Hague Evidence Convention provisions that are designed to make it easier to deal with obtaining evidence across borders and the practicalities of dealing with letters of request from overseas courts, in Scotland.
