Does family law impact on opportunities for women and girls?

Rachael Kelsey was invited as special guest speaker at the African Women Lawyers Association International Conference 2018 in Lagos, Nigeria. The focus of the conference was on sustainable development and the African Woman. Rachael spoke about family law issues that impact on the opportunities for women and girls and some recent developments from work being done by the Hague Conference on Private International Law and how that may sit well with the Maputo Protocol and the African Union Agenda 2063.
